The most amibtious crosssover yet? john Cena to join the Fast&Furious family

This is a franchise that should have died after the first movie which was pretty weak, and yet here we are, as they manage to one-up the insanity with just about every movie. It's actually very entertaining and the cast, at this point, is ridiculous. Good on them.
Because Dwayne came in and made the franchise the most popular it's ever been and vin prolly resents that.
Also the new spinoff movie with Dwayne and Jason Statham was apparently made with vins input.
How is that the most ambitious crossover or even close? It's just another wrestler, who's acted or at least voiced before, joining the cast of a mediocre at best action movie. He'll fit right in.

Supposedly they are the ones pulling the strings like charlize theron's character in the main series.
The Rock has already confirmed he will NOT be in Fast 9 (although he left the door open to return in 10, and since that's apparently the final movie, he'll be back for it).
a friend works for Universal and he's told me a few yrs ago that execs always wanted a Fast and Transformers crossover, aka Fastformers.
Cena was in a Transforners movie and this could mean the crossover got greenlit. At least some kind of Transformers related cameo to set up Fastformers.
