Oh hey there's a thread on this.

Just found out about this the month before and I didn't know I needed marble racing in my life.

Incredible performance by Wospy to get a podium placement in this race, what a showing for team that's been stuck at the bottom for the rest of the season. The excellent balance through the hive proved important for staying competitive.

I'll be happy when we get get to the next race and improve the conveyor belt system though, it's absolutely brutal watching marbles lose positions due to it.

Are there multiple leagues because I remember watching this like 3 years back and wonder if it's the same channel or a ripoff

Very fun race! Insane how the front row just went backwards. Incredible comeback by Team Galactic, that's 2 wins already!

Purists will complain that the Hive is a gimmick, and let us know how much they wish for things to be like they were done two decades ago, but lets be honest, the sport has has to adapt to modern times.

It fucked over my team, but I still think it's a cool addition. I like the idea of things that can cause drastic changes in the race. Went from first place by a giant lead to 5th.

...I wonder how long it will be before we see a race track with high-risk short cuts a la Yoshi Circuit or Pinball cabinets.

Greenstone looks pretty crazy. Looks like they'll need to nail a perfect racing line to get a good qualifying time, but it's going to be hard to keep that during an actual race. I think which ever marble gets a big lead on the first lap will run away with it.

Disappointed in Orangin, but Galactic is probably my second favorite team so it was nice to see them get another win.

Really fun race, the hive really mixed things up. Raspberry Racers got some more points - fell back to 12th almost immediately from starting 6th but managed to battle back and finish where they started. Definitely could have gone worse!

I have to tear myself away from this because I could FEEL myself become addicted. I might have to come back, this is very much the dream job of middle school me.

Happy that Mimo picked up our first points today, after the terrible qualifier. Hoping for a better back half of the season.

Aw, rough finish for Limeline just below points, but it's hard to be upset about it. The entire midcard was an incredible sequence of position changes right up to the final lap. Also happy Momo finally got on the board.

Didn't have a favorite through the first few races, but enjoyed them. After this race, Team Galactic all the way...however, not because they won.

My wife had made fun of me whenever she saw that I'd watched a qualifier or a race. Today, I put on the race, and she came in, laughed about it, then said "I want the blue and white one to win"....she meant galactic. By the end of the race, she was cheering, and now is waiting for the next one.

So, yeah, we're a Galactic household.

This is a new league that started this year, but it's the same channel. He started way back with marbles rolling down a dirt/sand track in his back yard. Then went to the rally racing with the teams, then the olympics and winter olympics. At one point, he accidentally deleted his entire channel, so he's been building his content back up.

Ow, that was a pretty poor showing by Snowballs. The poor first lap really cost them the race.

Oh hey there's a thread on this.

Honestly torn on which team to support. Anyone want to argue their case?
Team Momo needs all the help they can get. If things don't turn around you should be able to write off supporting them as a charitable donation on your taxes next year

I'm a firm believer in watching and waiting for one particular marble to catch your eye by doing something amazing! This was what made me a Raspberry Racers fan - keep an eye on Razzy, the captain:

The objective is to be the last marble to fall all the way to the bottom of the 12 funnels, and even though Razzy is the first one down to funnel 10, he manages to hang on from that precarious position and end up finishing 2nd in this qualifying heat, almost taking 1st! Sad that the commentary didn't notice how crazy the run was, though~

You know what I actually think you're right. Nice marble colour, doesn't have a name that pisses me off, underdog.

I'm a Momo fan now.

I like the Hazers because they among the fastest and most consistent team whenever they perform and I like the designs of each marble.

Like their design a lot, but that name man.. painfully generic.

Good shout on the first bit, but not a fan of raspberries if I'm honest. Same reason I can't really support Orangers.

This is the only sport I have now. Full steam ahead, I say. There hasn't been a reported case of a marble with COVID-19.

Jelle better suspend Marbular One, it would be reckless not to.

This was the statement from Marbula One Management:

+ + + Statement on the Coronavirus/COVID Situation + + +

Dear fans, a lot of you reached out to us to ask if everyone at JMR is safe and if the current season of Marbula One will be cancelled. We feel like we should give you some insight on the situation from our perspective. In short: We are all fine and Races 5 to 7 WILL be premiered as scheduled!

We are creators with a huge community. It is our responsibility to ensure your well being while you're with us - And we do love doing that, don't get this wrong. But our primary mission is to help you escape all the negative things in the world even if it's just for a brief moment, and remind you to also enjoy the little things like our marbles. This is exactly the reason why we refrain from injecting doping scandals for example, because that's something ruining the spirit of real sports and we want to do better than that.

The internet is doing a great job of making everyone aware of the seriousness of this COVID outbreak, with banners on essentially all social media platforms and other ways. Unfortunately, we are not qualified to give you instructions on how to stay safe, what to do and how to act - other than to go wash your hands. We feel like it's best to leave that part to the experts. If you feel like you're lacking information, a good place to start is the COVID website of the WHO: https://www.who.int/health-topics/cor.... There are recommendations on how to protect yourself effectively and how to stay safe during the outbreak. It's never bad to stay informed on the situation by the organisation that specialises in our health.

Our marble athletes and spectators are perfectly safe and cannot be infected by the virus, which brings us in this unique position of being able to continue our work. With everything happening at the moment and unfortunately many sport events getting cancelled, we will do our best to keep you entertained and to allow you to catch a little break from that.

If you ever wanted to help us by just spreading the word about our strangely addictive content, now is a really good chance and we will appreciate every single interaction/mention! In times like this not only will it help our fellow real sport fans to stay entertained and get their fair load of drama, but it can also help us grow and reach more people.

We expect no delays or cancellations for the current season of Marbula One, as Races 5 - 7 have been completely recorded already. Jelle plans to record the last race next weekend and we will keep you informed about that. But for the next 3 weeks you will get your load of new marble races!

There are also no plans to cancel the Marble League 2020 (aka MarbleLympics). Once the production of M1 is wrapped up, Jelle will start with the construction of the 2020 Stadium of Team Galactic, the Andromedome. We will give you another update moving closer to May/June.

With all that being said, we hope to answer most of your questions! If not, please do not hesitate to ask them below. Thank you so much for your support and please stay safe everyone!

Also a Ducks fan but Billy fucked up hard yesterday. I actually found it hard to concentrate on the top 3 with my boy 3/4 of a lap behind.

After two weeks of going strong, it was a disappointing result. Just have to hope it's the team having a rest week so they're in top shape before the second half of the season.

O'rangers have the best fans an normally perform well. This M1 season has been rough though.

Ooooooooooorangers!

Edit: 2nd off the pole isn't bad though. Didn't help us in the first race but I've got faith in Orangin

Yeah, there's absolutely no rhythm in this track. I wonder what will happen when all the marbles justles for position.

But, hey, another good qualifying round for the Orangers.

Yeah, this race is gonna be mad. Maybe not that many passes all around but tons of bumping for sure.

Solid qualifying for Team Galactic as well, coming strong after 2 wins in 4 races.
