But I thought people on here said that Sony does not allow nudity anymore on PlayStation cause a bunch of anime games with really suspicious looking young characters got censored?!?!?
It's more likely it comes from using a human rape scene as a character motivation/instigator than random topless fungus zombies.
Rape is out of question without the Sexual Violence description. A few years ago only two games ever got that. One was some visual novel and the other was Ground Zeroes.

I was about to say, Naughty Dog has had one of the most infamous nude scenes for decades.

Is that true? I can think of a ton of games even back then that featured pretty clear sexual violence (Metro Last light for example).
My assumption was that shot was edited or carefully selected for the trailer. I wouldn't be at all surprised if we see genitalia in that scene in the actual game, don't have much context for what is happening there but if they're going to have a guy stripped naked in full shot I don't see them being afraid to show nudity. I think that would be enough without anything else to get these tags if that is the case too. Don't really see the need for wild speculation from some people.
While I'm more inclined to give ND the benefit of the doubt, I'd hope they do this in a tasteful manner and not just throw in nudity and sexual content just for the sake of being provocative.

My fear is to tackle on so many themes vaguely. The first game manage to approach sexual harassment and sexuality in a very interesting way with Ellie and Bill.
To mix more themes demands more caution. But again... I do trust Naughty Dog handle this.
Sexual Content is def Dina and Ellie making out a lot. Have y'all seen how ND did their first kiss? The realism probably got ESRB shook. Also I feel female sexuality is rated harsher anyway.

Im sure us yanks are just "scared of the sex" and it has absolutely nothing to do with people worrying that it will be handled poorly, distastefully or otherwise be shoehorned in for no reason. ND pedigree alleviates these concerns to some degree..... SOME degree, but the concern is still there, and warranted IMO considering the industries past.

That's pretty disingenuous considering the early trailers prompted much discussion of their portrayals of violence.
There was a naked dude in the last trailer so that's probably it to be honest. As for sexual content, well Neil did say the story was somewhat inspired by The End of the F-ing World show and if you have seen that then you pretty much have a good idea about what kind of sexual content we might see.
age ratings are a thing that affect sales numbers, aren't they? I mean, of course mature content can be successful (I think the porn industry is worth more than Hollywood) but I don't think Naughty Dog are targeting that kind of audience.

eh well, I think that comment could be read in a wrong way. my point: age ratings are a thing and especially video game companies (and big movies as well) try not to be rated for adulty only to maximize profits.

Strawman aside, I'm pretty sure people saying that always pointed out how it wasn't the case for western games and big budget ones (outside of the weird issue for DMCV).
There's an optional bit on a train were two soldiers are trying to rape a woman. If you don't save her they accidently kill her before they can carry out the the act.
I mean it's not a graphic depiction of a rape but it still seems like it should qualify for the sexual violence category.
