Wait, so even if kids are with their parents they're not allowed to see this film in Greece?

Although I still don't understand this meme, you could at least have written it in greek
"Αν κάποιος με ξεγελάσει μια φορά, πρέπει να ντρέπεται.
Αν με ξεγελάσει δυο φορές, πρέπει να ντρέπομαι εγώ.
Αν με ξεγελάσει τρεις φορές, Είναι το τέχνασμα του τζόκερ."

Those are some nanny state laws they got in Greece. Seriously, up to 10k euros? And not even to the parents but the staff that probably would get yelled at by said parents for refusing entry

Seriously though, if someone takes their children to basically an R-rated film in Greece they can have the cops escort you out?
No they cannot. I dunno if its legal but the asshats over at the Ministry of Culture fucked up big time. It was disgraceful to hear this happened, as if the kids aren't already overexposed with the intetnet. ΝΔ is putting in overtime to look as stupid as fucking possible while also being highly hypocritical and vengeful to the previous government in power. This isn't remotely related to the latter but it has to be said with news like this coming out, this isn't normal for Greece at all.

I was in Athens last week, and I thought this was about Frat houses for some reason still.

This reminds me, when the lights came on at the end of Midsommar when I saw it opening weekend, I saw a couple rows in front of me there was a family with two children who were probably about seven and ten years-old.

Them kids gonna need therapy.

Yeah, first time a lot of us are hearing about this, its ludicrous. PEGI for video games and ratings for digital media is never upheld, and television after 10PM is basically anything goes most of the time. If the kids are like younger than 10 its understandable but these were minors above 13 and some with parents, they should have the right to bring their kids along if deemed okay.
if only it was just Joker that proved how much of a laughing stock the Greek government is
ND is running on legacy fumes after 4 years of Syriza rattled their brains into oblivion. Its absolutely shameful that we regressed to the idiot grandson president of the previous majority party being elected PM after right wing propaganda medium successfully besmirched the modicrum of progression the previous government squeezed out of this fucked up system and got them back in power. They're gonna need a miracle to keep themselves in power for the full four years.

"While it has attracted mostly positive reviews - reaching a score of 68% on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes - others have criticised the film for glamorising its violent protagonist."

Lmao give it a rest
