── Season 7 ──
Tuesdays at 8 PM ET / The CW

Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) lived a normal life as a perpetually tardy C.S.I. in the Central City Police Department. Barry's life changed forever when the S.T.A.R. Labs Particle Accelerator exploded, creating a dark-matter lightning storm that struck Barry, bestowing him with superspeed and making him the fastest man alive — The Flash. After a thrilling cliffhanger last season which saw the new Mirror Master (Efrat Dor) victorious and still-at-large in Central City, The Flash must regroup in order to stop her and find a way to make contact with his missing wife, Iris West-Allen (Candice Patton).

With help from the rest of Team Flash, which includes superheroes Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker), Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes), Ralph Dibny (Hartley Sawyer), and Nash Wells (Tom Cavanagh), as well as the Flash's adoptive father Joe West (Jesse L. Martin), Meta-Attorney Cecile Horton (Danielle Nicolet), tough cub reporter Allegra Garcia (Kayla Compton) and brilliant tech-nerd Chester P. Runk (Brandon McKnight)…Flash will ultimately defeat Mirror Master. But in doing so, he'll also unleash an even more powerful and devastating threat on Central City: one that threatens to tear his team—and his marriage—apart."

that subtitle

i'm mad at it and i also can't be mad at it

Still pissed off they're writing Ralph out instead of just recasting the part. Damn it.

What was the deal with Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes)?
I thought he was supposed to have exited the show years ago, but he's still around?

Going to be interesting to see a more ripped Flash this season.

He negotiated himself a contract that lets him stay a series regular despite not being in every episode of the season.

He's gonna bounce with Sue or some shit

The messed-up part is that Sue is staying on the show. Without Ralph. It's stupid.

And apparently they gave Ralph's storyline this season to "another character", which probably means fucking Allegra.

It's crazy that 95% of the main cast from the beginning of the show are still around. With more being added this season.

A quick little note and shout out to the DC TV community: when I started my full marathon of the Arrowverse in fall 2019 and documented it here on Era, I didn't expect to fall in love with the universe (up and down moments, flaws and all) as much as I did.

However, I also started watching it at what was a few months into what was the most difficult period of my life and it -- and interacting with you all through that ridiculous LTTP thread -- helped keep me (somewhat) sane. So it actually became a pretty important piece of media to me for very personal reasons and I've had a lot of fun making the OTs for the returning shows this year.

So, yeah. Thanks. <3

I certainly hope they can find a direction for her this year. At no point during S6 did it feel like

Part of me feels like they did that because we'll be saying goodbye to a character or two this year. We'll see.

Not sure I'll keep up with this
Stargirl and Wandavision have spoiled me on good superhero shows

Man, I forgot about Ralph. They really should have just recasted him. So will spring premieres be the new norm now or?

pretty sure it's just COVID pushed everything back

i would expect most shows to go back to normal once everything else is "normal"
Oh for sure about covid. If they want the schedule to go back to normal, then the actors would be working far more than normal this year so they have season 8 ready for fall, right?

Really curious if they're going to resolve all of season 6 stuff with this episode like Batwoman did its season 1 stuff or stretch it across a couple of episodes

I wonder if it ends with Iris taking control of the mirrorverse from Eva
