Too many ports is the primary issue and I don't see much to change that view.
but I'm not sure what exclusives are coming to the other consoles in the near future.
This excuse will always appear even if there's only a single WiiU game isn't it?
its so sad people complain about ports and multiplats but they forget that some of those games on the switch because of its value and its first time coming to a nintendo system.
Damn then the first half of the year is pretty bad for every console.

The Switch with it's 3000+ games and people complaining they have nothing to play.it's not a bad lineup by any means
but for me personally, it's a disaster. I'm starving over here

Try a little harder please.
how about "this tired post and my weary sigh"The Switch with it's 3000+ games and people complaining they have nothing to play.
Name a more iconic duo.
I can name 3 excellent games right away that you will most certainly not have played to tie you over. No problem whatsoever.

This is spot on. People were claiming Switch was going to be dead because 2017 didn't have anything to play, lol.The funny thing about how people often talk about Switch's stellar 2017 is that when the console came out, there was no shortage of people being quick to complain how the console's first half was "weak", since people dismissed Mario Kart 8 as a port and BOTW being the only really substantially unique/new game until ARMS hit the console that summer, then Splatoon 2 a little bit later.
I think the first half of 2021 is off to a great start for them, they have all the potential right now to get a slam dunk of a year if they keep it up for the second half with some of the rumored games, as well as third party stuff like Shin Megami Tensei and No More Heroes.
Well, the initial "I"m starving" post implies the exact opposite. If you have stuff to play, play it, don't complain that there's not enough additions to your pile of shame.I have plenty of games I can play
that doesn't make the Switch's H1 lineup, the entire point of this thread and the thing I was commenting on, any more exciting for me
It's pretty thinly spread but acceptable under the circumstances. Some cool stuff in there. More worried about the back half of the year.
Yeah, I saw that post and was like "what." Rise will hit 8M easily, probably more like 10M+. It's a huge release.
I anticipate there being a couple of surprises later in the year but it's probably gonna be pretty empty by and large. Got a feeling they're gonna try to cover their losses with a major holiday gouge; all three HD Zelda ports plus a soundtrack, plus maybe download codes for the NES games, all in a single physical package for £100 or something similarly agony-inducing. Limited-time purchase and probably the only way to play WW or TP HD on Switch just for that extra bit of pain lmao. It's decent in a vacuum, but if you limit it to actual exclusives it's pretty thin.
Also this. All the interesting stuff we know about (Bayo 3, BotW2, Prime 4) seems like it's definitely going to slip to 2022.
