Off-topic: Portuguese here, that's the main reason I went for the disc-based edition. You can always pre-order games with 15% discount.

Back on topic, I'm using all my strenght to avoid watching this. I don't want to see any more footage, just want to experience it first-hand. It'll be my first time playing a Souls game

I would say is the music more than the imagery, that gives the dread and ominous feel in the original intro.

4k is just the resolution, the graphics are pared back a small bit for the 60fps version. No RT.

I had this with those Lucasart point and click adventure remakes (Day of the Tentacle or Full Throttle), your mind's eye goes "yup that's how they looked" until you check what they actually looked like :p

Off-topic, but does anybody also have issues with Gamersyde videos?
I download their videos, transfer them to an HDD, plug into the TV, and then this weird glitch occurs where if I try to skip 10, 20 seconds, or just fastforward, the video restarts.
Also, my TV is an 2019 LG, dont knwo the exact model, but I'm used to watching 4k content from other sources, and Gamersyde video is the only one that gives me problems. Probably something to do with the enconding.
The weird thing is when I try to play a video the TV doesnt support, the video simply doesnt open, but their videos play, they just dont let me fastforward.

Oh yeah I know ! That's how it was in France as well for the entire gen. Until now.

I was just charged 79.99 for Demon's Souls. Sackboy and the others are also still at full price.

I can't explain it. I hadn't paid full MSRP for a physical video game since the PS2 era.

I'd like to know how things stand for the other European countries.

And that's the performance mode, will be interesting to see what the quality mode serves up as it's usually hard to see the difference between native and checkerboard.

This is the only next gen game so far that really approaches that holy-shit absurd amount of detail and lighting quality seen in the UE5/PS5 engine demo. And this game does it at 60FPS at that.

Tried to switch the address on Fnac, and they allow to choose countries. Italy is one of them, of course. So i guess they do. But that said, international delivery is done by DHL and it costs 10€. So your game is actually 78 euros. You save...2 euros. Not sure if it's worth the trouble really.
