Prefer fallout overall but I don't want another fallout game made by Bethesda. They don't live up to the potential of the IP. At least with elder scrolls or star field it was always theirs and we know what to expect.

The only Fallout i really enjoyed was 3. TES has Morrowind and Skyrim + lore.

I've never been nearly as big on Fallout as Elder Scrolls. Virtually everything about the latter clicks for me more. I don't necessarily dislike Fallout, though. 3 and New Vegas are pretty great.

I'm kinda sick of Bethesda games in general, but if i had to pick one it would be Fallout. So much more potential under better hands.

I enjoy both IPs immensely.

If I had to pick, I'd probably choose Elder Scrolls though.

I'm also really looking forward to Starfield.

I can't stand all the kitschy-cutesy 50's Atomic Age garbage of Fallout. I'll take Elder Scrolls every time.

Definitely Fallout. I've tried to play Skyrim several times and I never make it that far before completely losing interest.

There are very few things I enjoy about the Fallout universe. I've really tried to, but it just ends with me getting fed up with one thing or another.
I love Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim but I don't necessarily trust in Bethesda at the moment to make an ES6 that is worthwhile after Fallout 4.

The Elder Scrolls lore and setting is infinitely more appealing to me then Fallout could ever hope to be. Post apocalyptic 60s does nothing for me.

Fallout is such a "sometimes food" for me. Like it's such an intrinsically stupid setting that I have to be in a very rare and specific mood, and the more (and more frequently) you drop games into it the more incredulous I become about the whole thing.

The Elder Scrolls I can revisit more often, not least of all because they tend to just say "Fuck it!" and advance an entire Era between games, whereas Fallout's sort of glued to its particular goofy brand of post-apocalyptic retro-futurism.

I do get kind of tired of it, but I really appreciate that New Vegas leaned a bit more into a being a Western. It's quite an interesting three way cross between western, 50s/60s goofy sci-fi, and Mad Max post-apocalypse. I'm very into it!

The main thing that gets old is them playing old happy tunes over nukes going off in trailers or whatever just to be like "haha how dissonant is this." Like, we get it, the first Fallout did this already, enough of it

The Elder Scrolls is a far superior series. Magical and mystical, with fantastic lore and world-building. Fallout is boring to me, and isn't as interesting to explore and "live" in.
