Right, but getting a 440 isn't likely. Although I think it may be weighted depending on your current gear score as almost every time I've crafted something it has been in 430's. Even so though, say 435 is average; compared to a 450 that can be recalibrated to 465, there is most certainly a big difference. Plus the materials required to craft are pretty steep, it could take 10-20 shots to get stats close to what you're looking for. Recalibration allows you to upgrade gear score and change attributes or talents to what you want; it seems like the better use of materials by far, and therefore selling for money seems more sensible. I'm sure there's a balance, but it seems like its skewed to the selling side far more than the breakdown side.
Yeah, I'm wondering what the range is for WT5, I hope its 500. I see your point, but like I said, the material requirements see crazy to me. Having to use rare brand materials plus other mats to make a new item of that brand type seems strange if the items you broke down all have the potential to be 465 and/or recalibrated with the talent/attributes of your choice. Which means that youre more than likely to find a good roll with a high gear score that can be recalibrated by the time you have enough materials to craft a bunch of that item. Maybe I'm wrong though.
