But my dude Mass Effect 2 has to be there.

Looking back I think 7th gen was better overall than this generation. Who knows maybe The Last of Us 2 or Cyberpunk will really blow me away.

At the time Skyrim, but now it's either portal 2 or dark souls

Portal 2's perfect though

But my actual pick goes to mass effect 2 easily

I think it's probably Red Dead Redemption for me but, from that list, it's Dark Souls. A game I've bought on... four(?) different platforms. Played through it on PS3, bought it on PC for mods. Bought it on 360 for BC and then finally the remaster. It's the best Souls game and a work of art.

But I'd still say RDR.

Narrative driven games are my favorite so it's either TLoU or Bioshock for me.

By the way, the poll needs CoD4, Uncharted 2, Mass Effect 2 and RDR.

If you were gonna put Portal in there it should have been the first one. The sequel is just watered down fan service - and no amount of great voice acting can save it.

Galaxy 1/2 were pure magic.

I love Dark Souls and it's brilliant but it's also a bit jank. That series doesn't hit its highest points until Bloodborne/DS3.

Last of Us is so overrated.

Really tough choice between The Last of Us, Super Mario Galaxy, and Dark Souls. I think the one that has had the biggest lasting impact on me is TLoU, so I voted that.

TLOU was my favorite game last gen, not only last gen but it became one of my favorite games of all time.

Dark Souls is also a good pick, but i liked the Yakuza games even more.

Surprised at the amount of people saying Mass Effect 2. It's my favorite, and I think it's an incredible game, just didn't imagine so many people were that into it. I guess it was just a very loud minority that talked shit about it back then.

My answer is Dark Souls.
