I bet you he wont in this. I bet its going to be "Baleman action" aka absolute garbage covered by editing. The Catwoman scene and the beat down scene look straight up from the Nolanverse style.

I don't like the batsuit and the batmobile designs... other than that, I thought it looked great. Really dig the vibe, cinematography, and color grading. Also liked Bernard from West World as Gordon.
People usually watch films for entertainment, they're usually produced for financial and artistic means.
It's Batman, I can't get any good or bad feelings from this trailer, it's just....Batman.

Ehh. Let's see how he will be as Bruce. We've only had one decent look at him at a funeral right? One that was thrown into turmoil. He could be way more charming in other scenes.
Amazing trailer. Loved the tone and it's a great teaser for what's to come. Pattinson will kill it.
Don't get me wrong, I like it, I just don't think it's much different from what Batman does in Batman V Superman, though the reason there was less him losing control and more that he stopped caring.
It covers everything but his eyes in the cowl.

The beatdown is already light years ahead of anything in the Nolan movies in terms of clarity
There wasn't much to it. He is a year and a halfish into being Batman. Going for more of a detective story to differentiate itself from previous incarnations. More of an origin story for the villains, not for Batman.
The actors always have it but it's gone when they remove the helmet. In this film Bruce, and not the actors, has the makeup on.
presumably he just took off the cowl in those shots, some batman interpretations have him wearing makeup/paint around the spots the cowl doesn't cover. the nolan costuming did this too

I'm pleasantly surprised theyre acknowledging the eye makeup and make him look like a total loon. This looks like it will embrace Bruce Wayne not being fully right in the head.

And going by Reeves comments in the Fandom, Thomas Wayne's empire was most likely build out of corruption. Riddler will haunt Bruce with that fact.

I wasn't digging the collar or the bat symbol before, but it's they're growing on me. I especially like the way the symbol catches the light, due to it being metallic.
I think the suit looks fantastic. Far better than the ones used by Ben Affleck, and better than the ones used by Christian Bale.

I mean, thats Batman right? Realistically he is crippling everyone he fights, difference is if a movie shows someone exploding or whatever you can be pretty confident they are dead dead.
They are filming him there, so you could well be right and that guy is dead and that footage is why the police start pursuing him later in the trailer - I didn't even notice it was them on the stairs until the HD trailer.

I'm assuming the collar is just an additional piece of cloth that allows for a lot more movement from the neck up compared to previous costumes?

It makes sense that he would just swear a bunch on his face real quick if he's in a hurry. It looks good as a result, like he's unhinged a little.
And with his mouth and nose covered, a role model for everyone ☺️

So that chubby guy in the car running from Batman is Farrell isn't it? It's hard to tell for sure but it seems like penguin makeup with an American accent.
Really feeling the seven/Nolan Batman vibes. Punished, younger, disfunctional Batman is perfect. I know brooding characters are a bit rote at this point but the brooding Batman has always been best Batman and neither Affleck or Bale quite hit the right notes to emulate that perfectly
