No thanks.
Eh, it'd be really corny if they went that route. Unless they go the Ace Chemicals route that makes him age slower or something. It's not like there isn't cinematic precedent for having Joker be much older than Batman.
Yeah, even older... he'd be like 70+. I'm mostly kidding. But then again, you never know what they'll do, lol. They could just have him indeed be that age.
Uh, I think you're right.Batman's clearly got the record for the greatest number of different actors playing the same character in film at this point, right?
I don't know if you include Dracula and Dracula parodies and other horror icons. God as well depending on whether you see them as fictional.Batman's clearly got the record for the greatest number of different actors playing the same character in film at this point, right?
Ok, yeah, good point. Then in that case I guess Jesus is the most played character in film?I don't know if you include Dracula and Dracula parodies and other horror icons. God as well depending on whether you see them as fictional.
Nah, not even close. Zorro and Sherlock Holmes come to mind.Batman's clearly got the record for the greatest number of different actors playing the same character in film at this point, right?
This is disgraceful and the writer of this article should be ashamed
Please, for all that is Holy, watch Shazam. It's such a good little movie.Dope cast and Matt Reeves's Apes movies are seriously underrated, DC may actually be back to doing good movies again (liked WW and Aquaman)
I know you were being sarcastic. Point stands.
He's actually a character from BTAS"Gotham DA Gil Colson"
uh huh, sure. Hopefully, Gil makes a dent in crime and isn't as two-faced as the GCPD.
As someone who doesn't give a fuck about comics or movies based off of comics I'm not really stoked about Batman in general. Joker had crossover appeal and actually stands alone as a good film and that character is Joaquin's right now. I'm sure if you're a Batman fan this'll be fun. You'd rather a sequel to a new original take on an iconic character rather than a different new original take on different iconic character?
can't wait for the alt-right hot takes about selina kyle. love it when dudes get mad about comic books they don't even read.
Why assume that? Besides, it's not like Batman v. Joker is really a test of strength/physical ability anywayYou mean a Batman-starring Joker sequel? Assuming Arthur Fleck is the same age as Joaquin Phoenix is in real life, he's in his mid-40s during the events of Joker.
What excites you about seeing Arthur Fleck going up against Batman? Fleck just bumbles his way into murdering a few people and starting a movement. He's not exactly a criminal mastermind. Why assume that? Besides, it's not like Batman v. Joker is really a test of strength/physical ability anyway
Because he would be played by Joaquin, and you could have some moral nuance where the Joker represents dispossessed people and Bruce Wayne represents the wealthy. What excites you about seeing Arthur Fleck going up against Batman? Fleck just bumbles his way into murdering a few people and starting a movement. He's not exactly a criminal mastermind.
Marvel has been getting by just fine without reaching it.Best of luck to them. The comic book movie bar has been raised.
Batman is a series filled to the brim with edgelord interpretations. Joker barely moves the needle in that sense for the franchise.keep that dumb, cowardly edgelord bullshit away from The Batman.
I'd die laughing if Serkis's Alfred is him playing a digitally recreated Micheal Cain
How would that Joker be any sort of match for Batman. Arthur Fleck would get thrown in the Asylum and never come out, he isn't a criminal mastermind.
