Not seeing it mentioned so not holding out any hope of a fix for my level 29 character being stuck in the tutorial phase of the game's beginning, even as I've beaten the final boss of the game, just because I didn't play as the co-op host during my play time with a buddy... 😑
By "Windows 10" do they mean the Microsoft Store version? I guess so, since it's seem weird to distinguish between "PC" and "Windows 10".

These fixes are nice, but for people that is done with the story there is nothing else to come back to this game, a DLC with better loot and more (coop) missions would have been perfect for this game.
Glad to see the devs putting in the hours on this game. Regardless of the bugs that exist (multiple boss loads, I'm looking at you), I absolutely loved this game and hope there's a new game+ mode sometime in the future.

Not sure they ever will because there's nothing to actually "fix" – it's politics at work, I think the 2 versions are not supposed to work together
Yeah I believe ray tracing was working on the windows store version at one point, then they put out another patch that broke it again. This is re fixing it.
Literally haven't been able to play online co op on game pass pc since launch. I'll try again at this patch but I'm about done trying.
Me and a friend always look for co-op games, been doing it for many years, this isn't a oversight it's honestly a 50% chance that a game will function this way. Maybe not getting stuck that's just a bug but we've had to sometimes do seperate play sessions in a wide variety of games because the '2nd' player doesnt gain progress and is viewed as just an AI helper that can be controlled.
Someday, someday, we will reach the stars, cure the worst diseases, and have progress count for the co-op players as a normal game function.
Looking forward to jumping back in. Had to put the game on hold because my buddy and I could barely go 15 minutes without running into some kind of problem.
I never knew it was that prevalent at times, they should just be treated like an online game and give progress like almost all more fully online games do. Thats so wonky.
Oh wow. The Win10 version still doesn't have ray tracing? I figured that wouldn't have taken so long to fix.
i still have three broken achievements (win, comprehensive, for both our benefits) so maybe with this next patch they'll actually work this time. literally no one has "comprehensive" so this one has simply been broken forever, while the other two work for some, but not others.
they're just achievements though so they definitely should be lower on the priority list.
well, even master chief collection doesn't have campaign crossplay between pc and xbox, and that's a flagship, first party microsoft title. it doesn't seem to be a priority for anyone, which is unfortunate for everybody.

I actually just finished this game over the past week or two. I did every side quest (to my knowledge) and played on the GamePass version. Very good experience overall, the only bugs were a couple janky / misplaced quest waypoints for side quests in areas that had not yet opened up yet. No crashes and the performance was excellent on an RTX 2080 and 3700x.
I really wound up loving the game itself. It has super punchy, satisfying combat and it looks absolutely obscenely gorgeous, the areas are so rich with detail I could barely process it. I wish they had done more with the core game in terms of characters, choices, and quest variety; and I also wish the weapons had been more creative and off-the-wall given how much potential is in the core of the combat system itself.
Still a very solid game to just chill out with, it's easily worth playing for the unbelievable art and sound work alone. Huge respect to the small team and I really hope they expand on what they have in their next game, they built such an incredible foundation and I'd love to see more variety within it.
If you have GamePass I highly encourage you to give it a shot. Nothing profoundly revolutionary but just a really solid action game with outrageously good production.

Comprehensive has been broken since launch AFAIK. The plan is for the fix to be retroactive so it pops for everyone who has satisfied its requirements.

Hopefully yeah, it's the only achievement that i have left.
The kicker is, the game crashed during the credit crawl, so I didn't get credit for completing the game but my buddy did. So he can no longer host the game for me because his game save is 'done', so I guess.. I'll never play it again at this point. 🤣

They're a small team, not sure if this was even on the table at a certain point for console.
This is intentional, it get's pretty complicated, but I get why it's frustrating. For example say you play mission 1-5 on your own, then join a buddy that is on mission 11. Does your progress then get set to mission 11 and you miss all the quest-rewards inbetween? Or do we revert back your friends progress? Or do we force people to only play together? The intention is for the world and quests to update for the host, you play the hosts "world", while your character progression saves independently.
I'd be totally fine with having to progress my own world state with my character, if I could. Except the game, intentionally, thinks I should learn how to crouch in the waste management opening area while the world state is such that I spawn in the main safe zone/city and there are force fields I can't get through to get back to the beginning area because, I guess it, intentionally, saved that progress after I finished the first quest with my friend in co-op.

Is the Xbox version on par with Steam now? I remember at launch that some platforms were behind others.

I simply loved this game. It must be the best looking isometric game ever. Incredible atmosphere and sound design. Love the world building too.
Played on Gamepass and honestly it's my favorite game of the year so far.
