Looks cool, picked up an XSS not too long ago, mostly just been grinding through Hitman1/2/3 on it (again). Will definitely check this out.

Looks neat.

Honestly, I wasn't too fussed when it was announced but the last trailer/footage they showed in that indie thing(?) with all the NPCs and stuff, made it feel more chaotic and energetic.

So yeah, should be fun.

This looks so great. Can see myself being lost for hours in the world. I'm hoping the lore is compelling.

"It's more Hunter: The Reckoning..."

Now that's a name I haven't heard in quite a while. My little brother and I loved that series when we were kids, right alongside Gauntlet: Dark Legacy, so that's a high recommendation in my books.

Its the smallest nitpick. But its weird that the enviromental lighting doesnt seems to affect the player character in anyway. Its lit nearly the same throughout. I guess maybe to make it more readable.

How does the aiming work with a controller? Do you just point your character and shoot or do you have to actually aim with the reticle?

I hate those games where I have to aim with a top down camera.

It has the typical cyberpunk look but I'm wondering if there's anything deeper to the setting, like in the people, the themes, the storytelling, but I guess you can't get a sense of that from a preview and maybe they're just going for a more simplistic narrative?

Cause when I think recent cyberpunk and a deep world and storytelling, it's just Cloudpunk.

Awesome!!
So glad I catch my series X last week.
Game looks really cool.
Gamepass is just a phenomenal service.
Finally some real new games with dates to look forward this year.
June Ratchet and Clank, July The Ascent, Kena In August.
I hope that Horizon comes out in September and with Halo, Starfield and hopefully BF6 having a more robust and traditional campaign, I will be good with new games this year.

Is this at 1080p? because if so, that recomended feels steep.

I would hope that reccomended spec is at least 1440p 60fps on high or Ultra settings. I mean, the 2070 isn't far off an Xbox Series X, and the Series X is targeting 4k 60fps.

The strange part is the Min spec listing a GTX 660 and R9 390X side by side, lol. Whoever wrote those specs messed up (or AMD asked them to list a 390X as min spec).

For example, here are the GPU scores on Passmark:
www.videocardbenchmark.net

PassMark Video Card (GPU) Benchmarks - High End Video Cards

Video Card Benchmarks - Over 1,000,000 Video Cards and 3,900 Models Benchmarked and compared in graph form - This page contains a graph which includes benchmark results for high end Video Cards - such as recently released ATI and nVidia video cards using the PCI-Express standard.

Min Spec
- GTX 660 - 3,963
- R9 390X - 9,502 (This GPU has similar power to a Series S or X1X)

For Reference:
- GTX 750 ti - 3,930 (Xbox One S equivilant)
- GTX 970 - 9,733
- RX 580 - 8,914

Reccomended Spec:
- RTX 2070 - 16,107
- RTX 2070 Super - 18,114 (roughly PS5 equivilant)
- RTX 2080 - 18,602 (Roughly Series X equivilant)

If I had to guess, the game's actual reccomended specs should probably look more like this:

Below Min (Xbox One S Perf) 1080p 30fps?
- GTX 660
- RX 560

Min 1080p 60fps
GTX 1060
RX 580

Reccomended 1440p 60fps
RTX 2060
RX Vega 64

Ultra 4k 60fps
RTX 2080ti / RTX 3070
RX 6700 XT/RX 6800

I'm not sure that's true. I'm checking out the stream right now, and the dynamic lights from the environment are definitely affecting the player from what I can tell.

Check it out (same link that Theorry posted above)

This looks very detailed! Will it also be on Gamepass for PC on day one?

I have been watching some of these previews and apart from the stunning visuals and great sounds effects, it actually sounds like really fun to play!

Not sure how or why I never knew about this game until about an hour, but I am glad I saw the threads here.

Day one (Game Pass Ultimate) for me.

Cautiously excited about this but I hope it feels better than Ruiner, I bounced off that so hard because the controls were just ugh..

I follow this game from some months ago.

It looks really interesting, but from what i see in the various videos hardware requirements for the pc version are hard to justify.
