As someone who liked BR, the editing was incredibly awful. Fast and chaotic even during simple dialogues.

Any other nominee was better in this regard.

No one's watches the Oscars anymore because they're good or their awards are deserved. We just keep doing it cause our will is weak and we enjoy shitting on the academy.

Wasn't even freaking nominated! Looking back, having Babel on the BP nomination over Children of Men and Pan's Labyrinth was a travesty.

Holy crap I forgot CoM was that year too - I though it was the year prior. That CoM and Pan's Labyrinth weren't neck in neck for Best Picture is an absolute injustice.

lmao WTF. Bohemian Rhapsody was probably the most sloppily edited of the nominees. The lip sync was off FFS.

But Ottman had a tough task on that film and seems like a nice man.
