99% of those idiots have rented the truck. no real experience or business driving a vehicle that big.
A glorious private citizen hero set the camera up, who has an office across the street from this magnificent bridge.
And would sell pieces of the wreckage he'd go out and pick up. lol
This is the remade bridge? It's barely taller. Except less dramatic results, but I think we are back in business.
That's good, 11'8" is all fun, Little Brother was just scary.
The light was red. It can't stay red forever, because there is other traffic.
Ah, I take it back. The moron was sitting at the light, and didn't heed the reader board. His fault.
Turn on your sound. You can head the truck idling at the red light. The moment the light turns green, the engine starts revving and away it goes.

Um, he still shouldn't go under the bridge that his truck is too tall to fit under. I mean, him wanting to turn left doesn't change the fact that his truck is too tall for the bridge. Also, it's hard to turn left from the right lane.
It's not the same anymore, but it is nice to see even after getting raised the bridge is still a monument to human stupidity. Signs everywhere, red lights, and people still try to go under it that shouldn't.

It's a train bridge. The last thing they'd want is to derail a train. It's also easier and cheaper to repair a bar than a bridge. The bar prevents the bridge from being hit.
They're rental trucks and they're probably making bank off the people that don't pay for the insurance. Guaranteed they warn the people that pay for the insurance about the bridge. lol
It's in NC where they barely get any snow.
2020 has been a pretty crummy year, but watching people ignore all warning signs and ignorantly going through this bridge (without checking their height on their truck) warms my heart. :3
That can be said about a lot of people this year about a variety of things.
The hubris of humanity has no bounds. Like at this point this thing need to literally have a Loud ass recording saying if you are in a truck turn right or left you are over height. And maybe. Just maybe the accidents stop.
