That was also Chrono Cross and Ogre Battle 64's western release.

2000 might not have been the utterly insane year in gaming 1998 was, but I'd definitely say it's up there as one of the best.

2000 was kind of the tail end of my favourite era of gaming. '98 and '99 were probably stronger years, but 2000 was still going strong.
