Punching a mech ... is lame?I hope you get to...you know...control a mech and not just punch them in the face. Kinda lame if it's the latter.

yeah its the 1st thing that comes to mind
That it
Apologies, I could have worded the OP a bit better on that front, but I was pretty tired and working at the same time when I made it. I see why someone might think they're about to see a character action game where you are piloting a mech, which would honestly be infinitely cooler.I'm a simple man. I see a game with mechs, I buy a game with mechs
But I feel misled. This character isn't piloting a mech. Get in the fucking robot, lady.
As much as I would like to get excited about it, I remember an event from Sony in China from a couple years ago where they shown some upcoming games by Chinese developers (some of them looking really cool), but I don't remember a single one of them being released so far ?
If it's like "socialism with Chinese characteristics", it's probably a strictly turn-based action game. /s
A few have come out like Immortal Legacy and Hardcore Mecha. Others like Anno:Mutationem, Project Boundary, and FIST have been getting new trailers and such so it seems like they're on track. The one that most people seemed to be really interested in, Lost Soul Aside, has gone pretty much quiet though, which is why you may have that perception.
That's kind of a tangential point though, as Chinese development beyond Sony's China Hero Project has definitely been making major leaps these last few years, so I don't think its fair to judge the state of all Chinese games based on Sony's project alone.
Thank you for your reply! I really need to look up those games you mentioned. After seeing how good Genshin Impact was, I really want to play some AAA console games made by Chinese developers
That's too bad ... but then again, what is?
Yep, graphically looks nice I guess, but man it's really just punching and kicking a robot for 5 minutes.
I never played DMC but do you not unlock abilities if you hit S/SS/SSS? Tbh my only exposure is Samira from LoL where she can ult once she hits S rank.
The guy playing hit SSS for a moment, but still just kept punching the enemy?
Exactly. Like Lost Soul Aside made me hype. But alot of games since have felt like generic clones of it. It's a chase to get to Nier Automata status again. With DMC elements.
