Target has already started putting up merch for Across The Spider-Verse, which has led to the reveal of a certain character being in the movie

I'd rather they not to be honest. The modern Ben Reilly is a mess in the comics.
Merchandise didn't. Same thing happened with Wonder Woman 1984 stuff.

But yeah, Its gotta be Hobie since there's not another Spider-Punk that i know of. Im a little surprised the packaging seems to lack Peter entirely and just focuses on Miles and Gwen (with tiny little Miguel in the corners)
Seems like Merch didn't get the memo or its another case of Black Widow where the toys are done and coming out, release changes be damned. Although i do wonder if they're going to have more stuff when the actual movie comes out or just no merch at all?

I believe this was discussed on Twitter after Across was first announced that Japanese Spider-Man was being worked on.
Nice. He's easily tied with Gwen for being the best characters that got introduced in Edge of Spider-Verse, maybe even being slightly better than her (because the hyper-capitalist world he comes from and is rebelling against is so much more interesting than the world Gwen comes from).
