Dan was the one that was more heavily involved in the creative side of the company, wasn't he? It's obviously hard to say if anything will actually be different now if Sam wants to keep things the way they are, but make no mistake that losing Dan is a huge loss for Rockstar.

He's co-written every GTA game since London 1969, Bully, Max Payne 3 and both Red Dead Redemption games. So yeah, he's been a huge presence on all of their biggest titles.
