I hope it's not like the humor in his Mandalorian episode. That was beyond cringey.
He improvs a lot, so honestly the humor was probably altered from the script, at least.
It's already a joke. Taika will make it funny at least.
the stormtrooper dialogue from the Taika episode was the best part of Mandalorian, fight me
Eh, speak for yourself. I think Mandalorian felt like such a breath of fresh air because it was completely detached from the movies and only vaguely mentions them. As someone who's been long disillusioned with Star Wars since the iterations prequels this makes new excited for new Star Wars content. The further away they get from the movies the better.
dont hold your breath.
Love Taika, but I actually felt that was a bit out of place.the stormtrooper dialogue from the Taika episode was the best part of Mandalorian, fight me
I like Taika, so I'll definitely watch this one and expect good things, but good luck to him with the toxic criticism that will inevitably come his way, and with the fact that he has to deal with the franchise after a disappointing trilogy.
He makes comedy films almost exclusively so...yeah probably.
The many great Thor stories that are not comedies say otherwise.
It was super out of place but yea that was like the only sequence of the show that was actually enjoyable
The many great Thor stories that are not comedies say otherwise.
Tbf it's not Waititi's fault that the attempts at "serious" Thor movies both sucked and so his comedy one ended up being the route forward rather than a fun one off.The many great Thor stories that are not comedies say otherwise.
Same"I think I'm done with Star Wars movies."
Well, my sentiment was short-lived.
What a travesty it was getting a good film after two bad ones
Do you always talk in hyperbole? If you were literally enjoying nothing from the show, why did you watch til the end? Dont you have better things to do?
Is this a new definition of "joke" where it means "acclaimed movie that people loved?"
