Well I read it in high school as French was one of the three languages I studied along with English and German. I liked most of the books I had to read in school, I just find The Little Prince in particular pretentious, boring and far shallower than most people seem to think. But I also think that about Siddharta, so I might just be a contrarian.

I feel it was overlooked, and had a lot of heart and a lot of room for a sequel to push its ideas. To come up with a fresh turn-based battle system that was also faithful to translating MonHun into a JRPG format and accessible can't have been easy. One of the best RPGs on a system packed with them IMO.
Not even, the only games from BN that came late were not from their internal studios (FighterZ, Jump Force). Code Vein didn't come, neither will Arise because Harada directly oversees those.
I'm a Monster Hunter newb, but tbh, I think I want to start with Stories and Stories 2. They look more my jam.
