In 24h I will rewatch the new botw2 trailer all night long, and the treehouse section of course.
It's enough to make me happy, ad a potential metroid, DK or new monolith and it will be a solid 8 for me.
I havent watched the BOTW2 trailer all the way through that much(doesnt show much of the world). I just go to the video a lot to see the comments lol. But this new trailer I will probably watch so much as ive been waiting for it for so long

There are many things that can go wrong. It's called lightning in a bottle. Trying to repeat the same thing will be met with indifference. Making significant changes could be pulling on the thread that unravels the tapestry like avoiding the fight with the Nausicaans.

I guess, but it's the Zelda team. They've made like a million amazing games.

Personally, I'm hoping for big changes on the core gameplay loop. More direction, more distinct music, fix the broken scaling, more enemy variety, more handcrafted, large dungeons, more handcrafted content in general in the overworld that isn't finding Korooks (which I hated), overhaul the weapon system so that combat is built around using the right tool for the job and not saving the best tools until a Lynel or something big appears, let me actually find new magic, tools, weapons in the overworld or by beating dungeons. I hated the magic in BOTW. Given the Zelda team mentioned RDR2 as an influence, I also hope that means that the world itself always had a reason for you to interact with it, something to gain.

Don't wanna bother you so avoid answering if you don't want to. Is it absolutely impossible the relationship between Elden Ring and the Pro?

Absolutely impossible? No. Near impossible may be the better assignment. If they see value in such a release then they can will it to happen. Business decides all.

NateDrake are you excited for tomorrow?
I'm looking forward to the Direct and for Portugal's first EuroCup game.

If I were Nintendo I'd do one last big game announcement explosion to fuel a rush of console purchases before announcing a successor console to avoid console sales plummeting until the successor launches, no?

The whole Summer will be busy for Switch between the E3 Direct, the Treehouse, the big number of new releases, the Pokemon Presents, the Pro reveal and probably more.

Man I want to be able to watch video reactions for Metroid, BotW 2, a new Monolith Soft game, DK tomorrow. The more reactions videos I can watch the more I know the direct was great.

I'm so happy Brushie didn't leak the Direct yet, I'll be busy with work stuff tomorrow so I won't be tempted to endlessly check ERA instead of doing something productive, and then I should be done right before the Direct starts.

See you on the other side, folks!

I am debating whether I should watch or read anything related to botw sequel. I wanna jump into the game 100% blind.

I guess I should have left out Bayo 3 entirely. What about a vague 2022 instead for the Nintendo RPG (FE or XC)? I think with those modifications it'd be a likely scenario.

There's a lot of buzz around a new Wario Ware game, especially considering the poll sent out by Nintendo. I would replace WW with one of those

If anyone here says he leaked it I'm getting off of all social media. I'll go and get the Nintendo Direct YouTube stream up on my computer for tomorrow. So I don't have to see any leaks anywhere.

Tomorrow I have a wisdom tooth extracted before the Direct so whatever, I'm going to see it anesthetized.

Do you guys think with Nintendo saying "3 hours of gameplay for a handful of Nintendo Switch games" they mean it? As in they're only going to show off like 5-6 games or they're just underselling themselves and we will see maybe 10+ games.

Usually they play 2 or 3, giving a lot of time to one of them.

We might see BOTW2 if it's shown, DP remakes to show off a bit and "sell it", and one 2D game they might show.

That was seriously it?

Look, I've been high on the Nintendo horse for over three years now. I still remember my first post in a Direct Speculation thread. It was shortly after I did a big write-up on how I bought a Switch and BOTW, and BOTW changed my life. I would have followed Doug Bowser all the way to Mordor.

After tomorrow's presentation? I'm out.

Thinking of selling my Switch today. Any takers? I need to exorcise this demon. My roommates both have Switches as well. That's three demons in one household. I'm going to steal them from under their beds and throw them into the open sea.

I expected Breath of the Wild 3. I got... Breath of the Wild 2.
I expected Metroid Prime 5. I got... Metroid V.
I expected Final Fantasy VI HD-2D Remaster. I got... Triangle Strategy.
I expected Fire Emblem: Three Houses Expansion Pass #2. I got... a brand new game.
I expected Xenoblade Chronicles Y. I got... Xenoblade Chronicles 3Z.

This is some next-level trolling on Nintendo's part. Do they not understand we've toiled away to own their product? Do they not get their audience whatsoever? I'm so angry, I could eat an octorok.

Depends on the games they show imo, also maybe we will get a stealth announcement at treehouse. Hasn't that happened with a few games in the past?

What kind of treehouse is that? Lol 3 games. They're going to be announcing a good amount. I can't see less than 6 games played.

Given that Treehouse segments are most of the time 30 minutes, I'd say 5-6.
I hope they do 20 minute segments for 9 games.

I don't think NIntendo has ever shown 10+ games in a treehouse segment. 5-6 games sounds more likely.

So I haven't followed the rumor mill except through osmosis, but my absolute DREAM presentation for tomorrow would be to see the following:

- BOTW2 trailer (2022)
- Zelda WW and TP dual pack (2021)
- New MercurySteam Metroid (2021)
- New DK game, just a confirmation it exists with a trailer would make me melt
- New Mario Party (2021)

If I go in with these expectations, how likely do y'all figure I am to come out disappointed?

These 5 would make it one of the best Nintendo shows of all time, for me.

Can't believe we're so close to SMT V actually being shown off and releasing this year. Like, is this the future or what??

I would say everything there is quite possible, maybe just BOTW2, Metroid, and Mario Party
