E3 doesn't control what gets announced, it's the pubs and Devs. For example, Bandai decided that Elden Ring was going to get reintroduced with Geoff. And we should realise E3 is dying. The best came of E3 is not an E3 game since Geoff stole it because he's the devil.
The rumor was that third party were showing them in their presentation and announced for the Switch family, but the Switch games that are announced could be count with one hand as of now.
You had edgy Nomura shit instead.Me thinking we'd get to play as characters inspired by Amano-art in Final Fantasy Origin.
Straight up clown shit.
That was 2021 ;) and it also had Triangle Strategy. Feb 2019 had Mario Maker 2, Astral Chain and Links Awakening remakeI agree. Feb 2019 had Splatoon and Mario Golf which were both new games, and that's better than just Xenoblade HD. E3 2019 was better as well.
He definitely doesn't and don't expect anyone to know everything until a few hours before it airsDoes Nate know the entire contents of the Direct? If not, maybe we shouldn't get too obsessive about the number he puts his excitement at.
I think at least everyone expected it to come to switch tho. That's the real kicker.I'm sorry, but anyone who was expecting anything more out of the FF "collection" than what we got simply wasn't being honest with themselves. It was very easy to see that this was going to be a huge disappointment.
No way was Square ever going to pack all 6 2D FFs into one collection and sell it to audiences at the regular price, even as straight-up ports of the NES and SNES ROMS, to say nothing of any sort of "enhanced" or "remastered" features. Absolutely, positively not ever gonna happen.
Please don't, it's a massive fuckin waste of time lolI wasn't even going to watch SE's presentation, but now I'm going to watch it just to see how bad it really was.
Why, though? Square's shown 0 interest in doing that for, like, well, forever.I think at least everyone expected it to come to switch tho. That's the real kicker.
Yeah weren't people saying it was?I think at least everyone expected it to come to switch tho. That's the real kicker.
I wasn't even going to watch SE's presentation, but now I'm going to watch it just to see how bad it really was.
I dont know what you mean by forever seeing how they've released older titles on GBA, DS and 3DS as well. Why, though? Square's shown 0 interest in doing that for, like, well, forever.
If Metroid and Botw2 are there, come. If they aren't, dont.I just know that once I finish watching the direct. I would know if I should come to era or not.
It's easy to tell when the fanbase loses its mind after a direct in a bad way lol
Same. I need someone to reinsure me of Nintendo's DirectI really need a huge dose of reinsurance right now
This E3 has been terrible so far
If Metroid is a super Metroid remake that didn't look good. I ain't coming here to see the wrath lol.
So what was the expectations for FF origins? I didn't bother much with the rumors cause one of them was PS5 exclusive and lost interest right there and then.
Did I say something wrong? English isn't my first language lol :(
Well. Garland is there lol.I think most people expected Nioh but with the iconic FF1 Classic jobs and Final Fantasy monsters.
I mean, i get the "never will they sell them in one collection"... at the same time:I'm sorry, but anyone who was expecting anything more out of the FF "collection" than what we got simply wasn't being honest with themselves. It was very easy to see that this was going to be a huge disappointment.

I ended up skipping through most of it.
That's my point, though--they've never re-released those titles in a collection on consoles and there's no reason to think they ever will, despite it being such a seeming no-brainer to everyone else.I dont know what you mean by forever seeing how they've released older titles on GBA, DS and 3DS as well.
It's probably an early 2022 game, likely March to close the fiscal year.I really hope they dont open with BotW2. This would definitely indicate that its a 2022 game. 😂😅
You see how many games aren't coming until 2022? You should have a mindset that BotW 2 is a 2022 game and be surprised if it makes it this year.I really hope they dont open with BotW2. This would definitely indicate that its a 2022 game. 😂😅
They'll open with the next Smash character. No question about that.I really hope they dont open with BotW2. This would definitely indicate that its a 2022 game. 😂😅
My main issue with it - beyond the imo really bland art direction and early PS3 era graphics - is how tryhard edgy it is, and how boring the MC dude looks. It feels like it's trying too hard to pander to dudebros or something which just seems like a weird direction for a FF game imo.I ended up skipping through most of it.
I don't think Stranger of Paradise looks that bad, though. I would play it.
Man, if they come with another 2D metroid remake im done.If Metroid is a super Metroid remake that didn't look good. I ain't coming here to see the wrath lol.
if Zelda is confirmed not playable off the bat. Hooo booy
reinsurance | reasuranceDid I say something wrong? English isn't my first language lol :(
Yeah, they successfully killed my interest in what was, on paper, a really promising sounding project. Same with the shitshow of the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster.Me thinking we'd get to play as characters inspired by Amano-art in Final Fantasy Origin.
Straight up clown shit.
Nah. They can easily do a one more thing after BotW 2, especially if it's a 2022 game. They could reveal the holiday 2021 game last.I am pretty sure that BotW2 will be the very last thing they show, if it's gonna be in the Direct.
Except for all the Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Mana, and SaGa ports already on Switch. Why, though? Square's shown 0 interest in doing that for, like, well, forever.
I just know that once I finish watching the direct. I would know if I should come to era or not.
It's easy to tell when the fanbase loses its mind after a direct in a bad way lol
That would be deserved, imo.Been lurking on some threads and there is a lot of 'Nintendo save us mentality'. Combine that with the celebration of dislike-bombing Square's videos and I am afraid for Tuesday lol
Imagine if there's a teaser trailer for Skyward's Sword and no BotW2, the dislikes on that poor SS video...
