Is it really? I remember thinking it was utter garbage far worse than even Banana Blitz was

Ah, so this is why they went with it. Plus it reviewed okay, better than the Vita and 3DS games.
"We ported one of the worst games in the franchise to modern platforms, better buy it if you want more!"
The Vita game is the best one since MB 1 and 2 thoughAh, so this is why they went with it. Plus it reviewed okay, better than the Vita and 3DS games.
So much this. Hard too.
I shouldnt have watched this, now im dying to get a port of this game.
Why SEGA
Looked it up and there were only 100 levels in the original, so they could be adding more?
As someone who absolutely adores Monkey Ball, I can not FATHOM what type of being it takes to greenlight a re-release of this game over its two predecessors.
Yeah gotta agree with this. Was fun
Too hard. SMB Vita would have been a much better game with a SMB2 style story mode. A mode that let you tackle each stage one at a time without making you literally go back to stage 1 when you run out of lives. Made it super frustrating. Or hell, just the ability to unlock infinite continues like SMB1. The level design was good. But man was it unforgiving.
SMB 1 and 2 sold well but apparently, neither were million sellers. This one is, for some reason.
They could have put the XBOX version for Deluxe on BC and it would have been a better product with less effort.
Yeah, makes sense. It was a recognizable franchise in a launch that was 80% shovelware.
Probably because the Japanese version doesn't even use the original title and the international version is using its boxart. This whole release is weird.is it just me or are they intentionally making "banana blitz" less prominent on the cover of the remaster compared to the original? it's in a MUCH smaller font compared to "super monkey ball".
Maybe, but the levels were designed around motion controls so allowing players to use a stick isn't going to "fix" things.
