The Dr. Mario series has shamelessly made viruses look happy and friendly for years! How dare they!
They're not gonna bother to change anything seeing as they didn't even bother to change the GameCube button prompts.
With tomorrow being labor day for a notable portion of the users here we'll have an extra weekend day!
In fairness to the OP, he wasn't actually calling for Corona Mountain's name to be changed, he was just asking if Nintendo would actually decide to change it.

And I would agree Nintendo will not change the name, for the sake of the anniversary celebration.
Nintendo didn't even change the UI of Sunshine and there are still GameCube buttons on the screen despite the GameCube controller not being supported, they are changing literally nothing but adding widescreen and removing analog triggers.
You can play any final level you want just as long it's Corona.
Also, relevant to the title of the game, it's -It's the crown level. RIght at the top. Also the level is a volcano which the word corona has meaning in terms of heat.
