Summer Game Fest 2020 |OT| Geoff on the beach [Next Event: PS5: The Future of Gaming - June]

On the GameAwards channel there was a video "streamed 11 hours ago" at the time of this post.
The stream was titled Xbox Series X Event - Summer Game Fest with Geoff Keighley.
And the image for the video is a Game Awards trophy with the text "Anomaly Detected" over it.
There is also a date for "Live Dec 12".
The live stream recording is not available and it has no views.

So if I understand it correctly, it will be something cool but it wont be this huge AAA blockbuster such as the 3 mentioned games? Fine by me and good way from Geoff to manage expectations.

That was where I was putting my money first but now I'm going with Tony Hawk as well. It just happens to be his birthday and his nickname is Birdman, which lines up with JEFFREY GRUBB's hint over on twitter which was simply "___man".
Can we make this a stickied thread, plus there's been like 3 events announced in the last couple days I swear, theres the Indie thing, pc games showcase, and I feel like im missing one.

Well now it has to be amazing or the whole summer is immediately un-hyped =P
UE5 reveal probably wasn't the most exciting thing for consumers, but I can't deny that it's a pretty big deal for developers.
I am bit confused - I was not able to tune in at the exact time so I went to the website to see what did I miss. I cannot find any information as to what exactly the event was. Was it the Unreal 5 reveal? I am ok with it as I feel it was pretty impressive but I find it weird that the website does not have an archive of past events.

Gonna try and keep all the major reveals in this thread, so we'll have something to look back on when comparing to E3

Yeaaa... if they wanted to do this for 3 months, it would have been nice to at least have a daily talk show with new Developers or show off new cool indie games every other day ect. A weekly podcast at least? Weird to brand this so strongly if it just comes and goes.
