I'll never understand how Subway became a thing. They can't even give you a full slice of cheese and their meatballs are smaller than ping pong balls. Never mind the quality of ingredients or the pedophile ex pitchman. How did Subway happen when local delis and pork stores exist?
I think I'm the only one here that likes Subway.

Reported. This is actually vile 😂
Man, I love Subway. I love pretty much all fast food, though.I think I'm the only one here that likes Subway.

For real is the only veggie Lettuce holy fuck that sounds blandMe, delusional: 'it can't just be sandwich sliced meat in a bowl, right?'
I love pizza and I eat plenty of junk food, but I knew better than touch this when it was around.
I mean their "grilled chicken" has more soy in it than most, so you're almost halfway there! From the name, I actually expected some kind of vegetarian high-protein thing, because it called it a "protein bowl." Usually meaty things get names like "MEAT MOUNTAIN" or something at fast food places.
But it's Subway, so I should have known.
Wait, what's the difference between that and a salad with meat on it?That's just a small version of antipasto
I eat one of these about 3-4 times a week.
Fast food places always do this. Taking what they already have and repurposing it into a new item This is one of the more lazy attempts I've seen.
I honestly did not expect this...Me, delusional: 'it can't just be sandwich sliced meat in a bowl, right?'
Nutritionist-Era, is there any legit protein nutrional value in that bowl or is it just marketing bullshit?
The reason I ask is because I am under the impression that if someone is looking for a good protein intake (as part of their healthy or bulk-up regime) then you can probably get more elsewhere than a boil of cheap thin meat cuts surrounded by salad.
This screams like bullshit marketing to me because that bowl looks unsatisfying.
nitrate filled cured meats are not where you ideally want to be sourcing your protein.
Yes, different assortments of meat, plated on a plate or tray. Very common thing in Eastern Europe, for example.
With that amount of processed meat there must be an insane amount of salt in it.
