Stephanie Panisello, voice actress who has acting roles in Doom, Evil Within 2, the Final Fantasy franchise, Blade 2: The Return of Evil, the Batman theme park ride Knight Flight as Poison Ivy, and the cinematic trailer for Shadow of the Tomb Raider as Lara Croft, but has become best known for being Clare Redfield in the RE2 remake and featured in the book "Women in Gaming: 100 Professionals of Play" is going to be a guest at Otakon 2019, an annual convention held in Washington D.C. at the Walter E. Still not happy about Otakon moving to DC but if it helps to get more high profile guests then it's a win.

She was great in RE2 Remake. Hopefully she'll get to continue in the role if and when they remake Code Veronica!

Yeah, as a Baltimore resident, I miss Otakon being in Baltimore. The move was needed however because the city and state drug their collective feet in regards to expanding the Baltimore Convention Center to keep large events such as Otakon in Baltimore and it bit Baltimore directly in the ass because Otakon ran out of space to expand into. Otakon was using every single square feet of space at the convention center and using as much of the meeting space at the Hilton Baltimore hotel as possible and even expanded into the Hyatt Regency hotel for the last two years Otakon was in Baltimore.

It was a significant loss for Baltimore as Otakon was estimated to have brought in an estimated economic impact of $50 million annually.
