Deathloop is doing nothing for me. No "one last thing" moment. Sony's E3 2021 conference died for nothing.
it's effectively a MS owned property, so there's zero reason for it not to land on GP
Presentation was disappointing. Even expecting little going in, I think I came out less interested in Deathloop and the indies did nothing for me
Yeah, script was a big part of it, and just the tone in general.
Some of y'all never seem to learn to reign in expectations for random State of Play/Direct streams, lol.
Meh. Didn't expect much but that was even more mediocre than I thought. Deathloop looks okay but not sure it's for me.

It really doesn't. State of Plays are still pretty bad. I would much rather have their E3 or PSX show instead.
I'm excited for it too but I don't want to see any more footage of it, want to go in as blind as possible
Erm...I know. Its why I said I'll be avoiding the game. Lol
Anyway, Sony does seem adamant that they have another thing pretty soon (based on the last statement from the voice over), so maybe in a couple weeks there'll be another State of Play or something?
That was pretty dull. Lost Judgement is something I'm excited about (but was excited about before the presentation) and I'll probably get around to playing Death Stranding now that the director's cut is coming.
Is anyone else just getting tired of seeing Deathloop everywhere? Like, it looks cool and it's awesome if you're excited about it, but the constant marketing saturation has killed even the tepid interest I had in the title.

It's very weird to me that Sony is hyping and giving so much screen time to a ZeniMax game though. Guess there's a shooter / multiplayer hole it needs to fill in any way it can.
That was underwhelming. A stronger AAA headline game would have tied it together but Deathloop ain't that.
Oh, absolutely. That's a day one Game Pass title for sure, same with Ghostwire Tokyo. We don't know how long Sony paid for exclusivity but the second that clock strikes twelve you can guarantee you'll be able to download both on Game Pass.

Pretty meh for me, as expected so I'm not disappointed or anything. Death Loop just doesn't look like my cup of tea, none of the indies appealed to me, and despite some pretty major updates to Death Stranding I just don't care to do a replay.
Yeah, but a moderator teased something so people got unrealistic. It was a solid showing for what they said it would be, stop letting "Insiders" influence hype.
These games are so good because of all the possibilities you get while playing. Hard to show in 5 minutes and that gameplay didn't even look so hot. But if it plays like Dishonored with more shooting, I am sure, it will turn out great.
But yeah, the show weak as fuck. The indies shown felt super random. Happy for Moss 2 and Death Stranding seems like a meaty upgrade. But not sure if I want to invest another 50 hours when I already know the story.
