Any word on how does it run on PS4? I wouldn't be able to buy it on PC and leave my brother without it on the PS4, we are both huge SW fans

Weird how little this title has been pushed by EA. Mind you, I feel like Jedi Fallen Order was similarly neglected until release too. Keen to see more gameplay.
The Alpha ran like butter, a solid 60fps on a base PS4. It a very well optimized game (probably because it also a VR game)
How much does this just play like the starfighter stuff from battlefront 2? Because the starfighter modes in that were far and away the worst part of that game. Did they build an entire new game from the ground up, or did they just adapt battlefront 2's thing into a more fleshed out mode?
This is a space flight simulation, where you can control the speed, weapons and shields balance of your ship in real time. It's also cockpit view only.
Same with my Hotas. Pretty sure it will elevate 7-8/10 score to much higher, sadly not everyone can experience that way, a real game changer.

It's not similar at all gameplay wise. Built from the ground up for sure.
Maybe, I was long gone from that game by the time it got good. But props to them for turning it around

I wish the campaign was a bit longer though.
Did they announce what enhancements there will be, if any, for the enhanced consoles? Disappointed that they're not coming out with a next gen version, I would've picked it up for the PS5 if it was.

Just watched a review, the guy has a 2070 and says he can max out every setting while playing on the index. Seems to be super well optimised.
Weird, he didn't say anything about those problems. Here's the one I watched, he talks about it towards the end.

Pleasantly surprised that it's actually good! That said, these types of space/dogfighter sims aren't really my thing, so will probably wait for a deep sale
I'm assuming PSVR is going to be a blurry mess, but I sold my Vive a while ago to fund an Index that I still haven't gotten an order ready email about 4 months later so I'm just going to dust off my PSVR and run with that.
This is one of those rare instances when an 80 is sublime to me. I couldn't see it hitting even the high 80s without more meat on its bones. And that's OK. Most seem to agree that for what it is, it's great.
