In the first hour of pre sales, Episode IX has been outpacing Avengers Endgame tickets by 45% on Atomtickets.
And who said people weren't hyped for it.
Also, condolences to those that bet against a sub $200m OW. Sorry, chezzymann
It'll never recover from one failed spinoff movie.
This is the first time I've heard of Atomtickets.
Not doubting strong presales cause I just bought some tix, but maybe wait for Fandango or actual theater chains first?
I bet the biggest haters were the first in line.
It's not even going to get close.
I have absolutely no doubt about that.
Because TLJ killed the franchisewhy would anyone think this movie isn't going to be huge?
it's being marketed as Endgame for Star Wars
THey always been like that. I never got why folks shell out good money to be mad. But people did pay good money for Tron 2, and I never figured that out as well
It's not going to come close to Avatar or Endgame.I haven't seen TLJ and don't plan on watching this one, but pre-sales aren't a good indicator of how long the legs will be. It'll probably make the top 5 of all time, but unseating Avatar or Endgame? sounds like an avatar bet to me.
