Crossposting regarding the load times on PC:
Okay, I was streaming when I got these very long loading times.
Now I tested it again, upon death, respawning took me only 9s. Crisis averted.

Thats still pretty long, but thats crazy that streaming completely breaks the game like that.
okay... Im thinking about holding off too for the moment. still have control and gears5 to beat anyway.
from videos this game reminds me so much of the new tomb raider games, i wonder if there are also useless things you collect every couple meters like in those games. reviews are good though, definitely will get this next year on a sale. i wish dismemberment was in though.
There are a few things, scattered here and there, but they're cosmetic or lore related for the most part, at least on the first planet anyway.

BD-1 also scans tactical data, that can help defeat enemies.
It may end up decided by if edge reviews death stranding or not :) They have a high impact on metacritic and they hated death stranding.

Based on where it is currently, wouldn't 83 be a big drop? I don't know how it works.
There are minimum 60 More reviews are yet to come . We ll see. It could even go to 81 like ffxv . It started 88 and ended at 81
Regarding the saber customisation. Are there any crossguard hilts like Kylos? Or unstable blades?
The reviewer didn't like it and said will take a long time to finish it and then he won't even score it .
They hated it and didn't want to finish it, and finishing it is prerequisite to being able to review it according to Sony.
For some reason it completely slipped my mind that Respawn was working on this. Have high expectations from them after the excellent Titanfall 2 campaign, so glad to see the good scores coming in. Don't know when I'll get around to playing this, but looking forward to it.
Any idea if the day one patch addresses any of the technical issues?
Coming from the 57 hours I put into Death Stranding, 12-15 hours seems a little short.

Republic Commando is oe of best Star Wars games ever made. I know they are completely different types of games but how does the music compare between the two? RC had excellent music.
How long is this game? I wanna buy it digital but only if it's 30-40 hours or more and will have dlc expansions? I normally only buy digital games if they offer longevity.
Not even a debate. SW might go above 86 easily while DS has no hope getting over current 85.
Also SW consistently getting good scores while DS is all over the place, extreme highs and lows.
Great. Seems a very solid game. An action adventure in the Uncharted mold with inspiration from souls game in the combat. First SW game I have been interested in since...I can't remember the last one.

Oh, the music in Jedi isn't THAT good...RC was superb.
However, it's still excellent and very Star Wars.
I would be shocked to find out this single player star wars game was 40 hours long.
