Patches on console must go through Nintendo's/Microsoft's/Sony's own QA to be tested (for breaking console functionality) and approved before being released.
I'm honestly disappointed that I haven't seen thr Hashimoto laughing gif anywhere in this thread
Actually lol can't do that without using a 3rd party tools now since people were downloading super old ones that we're not supposed to have. Stuff that was development branchesCases like this is why I'm happy that there are ways to download previous versions of a steam game. Not that I ever needed to do it, but knowing the option is there is always reassuring.
Frantically trying to get the older version to no avail, how relatable lolAh the classic "whoops I deleted all the files from the repository and pushed it to everyone" update.
HA
Wait what?Edit: Judging by the Steam forums, they rolled back... to a three year old beta update, lol?
The people who still keep pestering Square about patching NieR Automata should be careful of what they wish for.

At this point they should buy buy Nixxes and give them the password to the Steam account and have them handle all the PC ports. Can't Square relegate everything concerning PC to Eidos? Japanese branch is seemingly struggling with the brainiac level of technology behind the platform.
hahahahI'm no code master or anything but
"Removed file – x64/FF9.exe"
that one looks important
It can't be worse than XIII-2,now that's dogshit..terrible port in many aspects. The FFXIII is also one of the worst PC ports I have played. Game ran like absolute ass and I had to refund it. FFXV wasn't exactly great either.
Imagine what people are in for when FFVII:R gets ported.
