Thanks mazi for the heads up!
Wanted to make a new thread just in case since folks seemingly were getting confused about its status.
Thoughts?
Makes sense. Crash went from 20GB to 9, so this going from 35 to 6 makes sense assuming they've had time to polish it further, especially since models and textures are much simpler than Crash's
I was mixing it up with the download needed to start the game on PS4, you're right :P.
It's still unconfirmed yet. It could just be a simple image missing some designs on the banner.So... What's their excuse this time for still requiring a download if that's true?

is that the banner for UK releases? looks very... MS Paint-ey.Here's some more conflicting info! Yay.
The box art from Nintendo UK's page for the game.
There it is, the banner to require internet download. Here's some more conflicting info! Yay.

Funny thing is collection of Mana on Nintendo U.S site shows Internet Download Required on its box but not on Amazon or bestbuy. Here's some more conflicting info! Yay.

The Nintendo listing is new. I'm on there all the time and didn't see it until today.
I actually look forward to people freaking out and have a meltdown here. :D
that's weird considering there's also this rumored listing, which could clearly be false ofc
I wish publishers would just issue an actual bloody statement rather than letting us all guess every time.
I thought only Spyro 1 being on the disc for PS4 and Xbox One was because the games weren't finished in time? What excuse do they have for the Switch game?
I mean the Tweet others have posted in this thread from My Nintendo News. If you follow it, their source is your old thread.
Well if this is the size of the eshop game, it's the three games in total. Which is great, but also not that great if things are heavily compressed and loadings end up being long as fuck
Which is still super long. I mean we should have the option to download less compressed assets, if we want to.I do wonder if they'll use the new high-CPU mode for loading, as Breath of the Wild and Mario Odyssey were patched to do. Crash Team Racing's latest patch added that feature, cut the loading from about 40 seconds to about 25.
had the exact same thought. i'd pick up a copy finally if this were the caseIf this is legit, I hope they reprint the PS4/XBO versions then with all three on the disc.
that'll probably happen. crash trilogy got a reprint on ps4 when other versions came, with the two dlc levels on disc.If this is legit, I hope they reprint the PS4/XBO versions then with all three on the disc.
i'm just happy the huge white banners are gone.Historically it has been this.
I don't even know what to think anymoooooore.

there was no download needed in crash.Think someone mentioned that crash is smaller but you still needed a download

I'd probably wait for confirmation
