Sounds like something I'd enjoy, thank you. I own it on Xbox, might play it later tonight.I'd say the main difference is that the Power Plays (When stuff explodes) is what you can do yourself by charging your powers, there's 3 levels and some of them are more devastating than others. Motorstorm Apocalypse did whatever it does based on which lap you were on if I remember correctly.

Motostorm: Apocolypse was so hectic, it featured some of the best racing set pieces.
Yeah, it's sad that arcade racers like Blur, Motorstorm and Split Second didn't do all that well commercially, they're such a blast to play. Let us know how Split Second goes for you! The tutorials explain the key points very well but the handling can take a bit of getting used to at first, but when you get into the game's rythm it is so much fun.
Hopefully one day they'll come back in some fashion.
+1. Easily my favourite racer of that gen.It was ok, but Blur, which came out simultaneously, was the goat and the choice of my friend circle.
Fantastic game, aside from the frankly outrageous rubber-banding. I understand you want me to use the games mechanics to win, but having the AI always be slightly faster than you even if you drive much better is just pure bs.
