Spice & Wolf VR is out on Steam today for flat screen PC, and VR today with a 10% launch discount.
I'm wondering whether I should get this for Steam now or whether I should wait and get it for Switch later this year.
/s? You really want a low fps poor tracking 720p screen you have to hold up to your face?
Yes, my Vive has better specs, but the Switch has a lower barrier to entry (less time to set up).
What do you get by getting confrontational about details that I'm sure this person already knows?
I just find it absurd someone would choose the switch version when they have a Vive. The set up nowhere nears justifies that much of a quality drop.
There are many people who often choose convenience over performance. That's the great thing about options, not everybody is the same with the same priorities.
Some people want to play games in the bathroom, or on the bus, or at work, or in bed. Try doing that with a Vive.
I'm hoping this is really good. I want to support the artists but at the end of day I'm still looking for what counts as a confusion l continuation of the story.
Yes, but be warn that the PS version will be missing the interactive mode; meaning that you can't pet Holo's head and tail, and interact with small items.
Oh, so it's not compatible with the PS Move controllers? Shame :(

It is compatible with PSVR, but don't expect to pet Holo's head or tail as Sony force the developer to remove that option. It was just too perverted for them/s. You can still interact with certain things, but it is at a much limited capacity.
Switch is completely wireless and truly portable. That's a pretty huge boon in its favour (never mind the fact that it costs a mere fraction of what a Vive costs).
Technology Connections made a recent video with a very good point. He makes it in regards to audiophiles, but I think it applies here, and to all matters regarding Switch ports:
