Sony's PS4 exclusive Horizon: Zero Dawn is coming to PC this year, sources tell Kotaku.

Pretty much this, if Sony announces they're doing all first party releases simultaneous on PC, I'm not buying a next gen console this year.
I doubt that, This has been a rumor for a while so if sony exclusives start coming at on pc that's a good thing but I bet you it will never be day and date.
So it is expected to be released on Steam for now. I might have to double dip for this. Would be curious if Sony eventually releases their own launcher. An Xbox and Playstation launcher sitting next to each other on PC would be wild.
For some reason Atlus will still keep Persona exclusive to PlayStation when even Sony doesn't keep their games exclusive to PlayStation.
Man with Xbox games being on PC by default and the precedent this is setting, next gen is going to be a great time to be a PC Gamer.
Awesome news. Would love to see Sony do the same with other PS4 exclusives, especially Bloodborne.

Excellent news. Now I dont need a ps4 to play it. Console exclusives are obsolete and will slowly disappear even for sony.
Honestly, really cool. I'll probably double dip as I never had a Pro at the time and my PC is significantly beefier than my PS4. If this is their strategy going forward though there's pretty much no chance I'm buying a PS5 considering the PC version will most likely be superior in each case.

Maybe the real humility was the exclusives they made in the way.
If they do this for more games and continue it for next gen I probably will just stick to PC and not bother getting a PS5.

Well the team would have to probably work the idea out with Sony, is what I meant but I worded it badly. I'm assuming this and Death Stranding's PC version were decided around the same time.
They really won't. Have you seen PC prices recently? And have you met average Joe gamer? The complexity...you need to have someone hired full time just tweaking your settings.
