Almost certainly. They were privately owned so it depends on how their ownership was setup. So did Ted Price get a chunk of that cash? I always had the impression that he was one of the best studio-heads in the industry and that people generally loved working for him.
People seem to have very warped ideas as to studio value.

Didn't Respawn own the Titanfall IP?Honestly i thought more than Respawn.
I mean Insomniac was bigger at that time and they were bought after Spider-Man, Respawn had 0 IPs and they were much smaller prior to EA acquisition, after Apex Legends and SWJFO made a bank their price skyrocketed and EA made a good investment but i always thought Insomanic price was higher.

If I remember correctly, it should be the same price as the Insomniac one.For comparison's sake, I wonder how much Remedy are worth now.

I think this might have been defensive acquisition, maybe they were bombared with offers and Price went to Sony first for old time's sake and told them it is now or never.

Insomniac wasn't forced to sell, if the people in charge of making the call on selling the company wanted to they simply could have denied this offer and asked for more.
