Enter the serial code from your PlayStation®VR in the field below to see if you are eligible. You will then be prompted to provide your shipping address. *
Enter your PS VR serial number, found on the rear of the Processor Unit, excluding any dashes or spaces.

Timing will vary based on region:

Japan: End of October.
Americas: Mid-November.
Europe, Middle East, Africa, Australia, and New Zealand: Mid-November.
Asia: Early December.

Good news and a little more info on requesting the PSVR adapter (adaptor?) for PS5. Looks like you basically just need the serial number.

To set up your PS VR with your PS5 console, you'll need your PlayStation®Camera* for PS4™ and a PlayStation®Camera adaptor.

Also, is this a regional thing, or is there a typo on the page? I copy-pasted from the actual link, and "adaptor" looks wrong.

You need a PSVR serial number to claim it. It'll take two weeks to ship.

Fuck that.

I use it for Just Dance, for motion controllers and to record myself, and I can't get shit because I don't have VR.

I can't be more disappointed right now.

The PS5 camera is not for VR. Just for streaming/recording video and some games eventually I'd assume.
