My 60-75% vote holds strong!

These reviews are giving me some serious flashbacks to Detective Pikachu's, so it's no surprise that the score is similar. Sounds like if you're a fan of the games you'll enjoy it, which is more than good enough for me. I'm glad it's looking like it's going to stay fresh.

There are only 30 something reviews right now, so it could very well drop below 50 by the end of the weekend, I'm gonna wait until it reaches at least 90 reviews before I eat anything. I'm getting worried.....

Better than I expected but I wanted nightmare Sonic, the new one doesn't interest me.

Yup, problem being there's not exactly a huge actor pool to choose from.

But let's be real, a NiGHTS movie isn't happening, ever. And that's a depressing thought.
Yeah, it has potential, but would never happen. I imagine a NiGHTS movie could work like Little Monsters, just with a more whimsical nature.

Well my kids friends are throwing a birthday party and watching Sonic afterwards. And they don't even play Sonic. So looks like it might make its money back :D

I'll scream if this ends up scoring more than Rise of Skywalker.

Unironically looking forward to seeing it on Monday though.

Honestly this movie just being fine is the best end result from my perspective, I expected it to be a garbage fire. But if it did too well I'd be worried we'd get sequels that are nothing but Sonic snarking around the real world with whatever youthful-looking hunky white male they got for the budget.

if it does well financially I imagine they'll feel more confident having sequels be more similar to the actual games (and introduce more characters)

I'm seeing a lot of positively from Sonic fans and gamers who also review films. Those who really understand the brand and are probably the most reliable critics. I see that general movie critics are torn but I feel that its probably a good movie overall.
