I remember listening to this music while looking through the collection of the Archie Sonic comics. (That went up to Issue #110)

How to describe this music. It just really hits you in the feels with nostalgia and I like going outside to look up at the stars while listening to it.

It reminds me of times that are long since gone now.

If only I could go back in time.

It's so weirdly melancholic

Maybe that was the point, as SMC was specifically created to allow younger players that were growing up with SA2 and the likes on GameCube to play the older Sonic games, thus signifying the end of SEGA's era as a console manufacturer.

Yup, Mega Collection's soundtrack is super good, way better than it aughta be.

Sonic Jam's Gallery music is a similarly chill Sonic 3 remix too

Straight from a PSO OST. Probably same composers. Sonic composers have been top tier. Sad that some people like Fumie Kumatani jumped out.

And some fools say Sonic music is all buttrock....
