Aloy looks very beautiful in HFW. Unlike Zero Dawn where she seemed like a wax model.

Ah, well observed. If we're concerned about realism (which we're not, it is a stylized presentation) the inhabitants of this world would look a lot more weathered, lean and generally rough.
It's been so long, I can't really remember. I'm not really complaining btw, it makes sense that they shouldn't be attractive, if anything they should all be missing a few teeth or something.
As much as this makes me laugh, I also find it incredibly sad. Like wow, way to out yourself. Literally someone who actually has never been with or close enough to a woman to understand that peach fuzz is a thing. How delusional.

Aloy looks like Aloy. I mean, that's it. She might be attractive to some, and not to others. At the end of the day, it's a fucking video game. I don't know. I'm getting old I guess and don't care about video game characters looking traditionally pretty/handsome. Then again, I've always found the women that might not be traditionally pretty to be more attractive, to me.
She really does look goofy in certain angles. It's endearing.

Without wanting to sound crass, it also makes one wonder if some of these people don't understand women also have leg, armpit and pubic hair, or whether they are so reliant on pornographic imagery that they think the only follicles on a cis woman's body are on their scalp.

The same people who are complaining and have clearly never been close enough to a woman's face to know that peach fuzz exists would probably piss themselves out of nervousness is somebody like Aloy approached them out of interest.
Aloy is gorgeous IMO. I can understand people not finding her attractive, but calling her manly is stupid. That tweet on this page is pretty much how I feel any time I see this kind of thing going around like it did with Abby from TLOU 2. All these dudes out there whining about women having peach fuzz, pronounced muscle definition, etc being "manly" are so obviously sad little men sitting alone at home that it's not even worth talking about them.
The only problem with her hair is how bad the animation is. Sometimes she's just standing and her hair is going wild like it's a Medusa head.

To be fair, there is a difference between the person and in game model.
Even when people are defending Aloy some of them are just being weird about it. Like, glad you find her endearing or cute at "weird unflattering angles" and whatnot but.... like, has there ever been a male protagonist whose facial microdetails received so much scrutiny?

Thank you! The visuals in this game are amazing, but her hair constantly moving on its own is endlessly distracting. It was the same way in the first game.
