I would have guessed mid to late 20s... particularly because Insomniac framed him as an older/wiser Spiderman than we're use to.

But if Mario can be 24, then i can believe anything about videogame/comic book ages

I guessed late 20s based on less of what he does and more on what his peer group does. Mary Jane acts more like she's an experienced journalist and less like she's been doing it for a year.

Yeh ngl thought he was post-grad.. plus Insomniac did frame him as an experienced Spiderman.

I remember being weirded out by the fact he looked 27+ but was only an intern with barely any savings.

Although I guess that could also be some people's reality these days.

There were a bunch of context clues. I think they say he's out of college for a year? Puts him in his early 20s.

I thought mid 20's for the original. The new version looks less than 15, or has some kind of hormonal issue.

Insomniac said he was 23. That's why the new model bugs me, not because he looks 'worse', but he doesn't look 23 and someone who's been Spiderman for 8 years.

I'd ID Spider-Man 2018 Peter any day of the week because, well, he looks under 25. Have some of you just never seen someone under 25 without the most babyish of baby-faces? It's strange lol

I assumed around 25. I'm pretty sure he hadn't been Spider-Man for that long as the work he was doing seemed about right for someone of his age with his intellect.

Anyone that caught the bags and other collectibles always knew he was 23, it's literally said about 4 times he has been Spidey for 8 years and that he started with 15(like most Spider-Man comics) but I think regarding the starting age the game just says High School not sure right now

Pretty much. Even more so if you read the character bios and stuff.

That said, I thought he looked in his Mid 20s initially, but Early 20s isn't really that far off.

I'm in my 20's and he didn't really look much younger than me. Most would probably peg him as early to mid twenties.

Still not all too jazzed about the new look. My first impression was the he looked younger than Miles and MJ.

I really did think he was in his mid-to-late 20s. I figured he had clearly been doing this for a while and it was straining his relationship with MJ, who had been putting up with it for a really long time and really just wanted to do her own thing.

I assumed he was early 20s because I felt like he acted like a recent graduate student or something. Not sure where I got that idea, but yeah.

Nah, didn't they specifically mention how long he had been Spider-Man in a prior interview? Something like 7 years? If you take the typical start age of 16 like most stories do, that would put him around the 23 range. So early going on mid 20's.

The new face makes it more apparent, but even with the old face he didn't seem late 20's to me.

Insomniac invested in the characters of the Spider-Man franchise, multiple villians, big lead etc. game of the year for a reason.

I honestly thought he was 25/26 and I thought it was perfect and I thought the character model fit perfectly. I thought they were gonna go for a mid 20's peter and younger just starting out Miles. Now peter looks younger/the same age as Miles.

I know hes "23" but now the character model looks like hes younger/same age as Miles. The other model had me convinced he had been Spiderman for awhile, but the new model looks like dude is fresh off the spider bite.

I thought he looked closer to 30, but I could believe he was an overworked ~26-28.

He didn't seem 23, not in looks or in narrative context.

Given his position with Octavius, I assumed he was pretty fresh out of college. Octavius basically treats him like a glorified assistant, rather than someone with more experience. And they made no mention of him having any post-graduate degrees, which would've aged him up. His face definitely betrays this, as he definitely looks older, but I think the PS4 also made him look a bit more crinkly than it needed to.

He definitely didn't seem to be in college in the game so it eliminated any chance of him being that young. I was thinking mid 20s or even early 30s
