Bruce Willis and Damon Wayans in The Last Boy Scout.
It's not even a contest.

Edit: not one other mention? I'm either too old or there's not one person of culture among y'all. Not mutually exclusive.

Obligatory Hot Fuzz is overrated trash hot take post.

Real answer is Lethal Weapon or Rush Hour.

edit: changed my mind. It's Wheels and the Legman

Lethal Weapon.

Too bad they didn't make a Senfeldisque show about them throwing jabs at one another between all that action and hassle of the films. With the actual actors from the films.

I recently rewatched Lethal Weapon 2. It's extremely hard to go back and watch Mel Gibson, who told his ex-wife that she could get "raped by a pack of ni**ers", be some sort of anti-racism, anti apartheid hero.

My money is on Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker.

For something different: Gregory Hines as Ray Hughes and Billy Crystal as Danny Costanzo in... Running Scared

Cracks me up.

EDIT: The true king of action cinema is also a cop duo movie:

Old Post:

Leathal Weapon 1+2
Bad Boys 1+2
48 Hours 1+2

as well. These movies are all so good and different enough to be loved equally :)

Was pretty good too. Love Belushi´s snarky humor and Arnie´s straight face as reaction

It's not a duo but what about Beverly Hills Cop, it's definately buddy cop but it's maybe too much of a vehicle for Murphy

Its Tim Robbins and Martin Lawrence in Nothing to Lose, terribly underrated and very funny movie. EDIT - I'm an idiot. Not a cop movie. I'll agree with Turner and Hooch.
