Apologies if this is already a thread, I searched and haven't seen one.

Myself, like many others have just gained a whole lot of extra time due to the Coronavirus. For me, my work and school is shut down until at least April 1st so I now have 7 days a week, 24 hour a day with nothing to do. I honestly don't know how to fill that time since my main hobby was going to theme parks which is no longer an option.

So friends, what initiatives have you started or plans you have made? I might dabble in Spanish while I'm on break.

I'm doing the same old same old

Same. Working from home and mostly just bored despite having the world of entertainment available as my oyster. That's probably just the usual depression, though.

I've been constantly trying to get myself to play videogames for a while now, and I've just been super burned out lately. I'm very on and off with my gaming, but I've been watching a lot of anime.

This is also me. Keep trying to get into new games but none of them take. Super bummed The Outer Wilds didn't grab me, because by all accounts it should be my jam.

I have had a bad schoolyear so I was ditching school all the time in order to stay in and play video games/browse the net/read books occasionally, anyway.

Probably gonna be more of that with an extra helping of guilt

Stocked up on weed and liquor, have a huge book and game backlog, and have been meaning to re-do the furniture for a long time, for starters

Don't have the free time yet, but fully expect to have it tomorrow. My boss told me he has "updates" tomorrow.

Staining my floors. Taking online Photoshop classes for fun. Playing videogames. I'll probably do one last run to the library before they close it down.

* Learning how to make games with Unity and C# (it's FUN!)
* Also working on personal programming projects, reading technical books etc.
* Made this with Angular recently
jeopardyGif3.gif

*Need to add features, clean up code on this project as well.
*I have some interesting projects at work, so I think about them as well.

Beside programming, I am reading an awesome book called Deep Work and playing Black Mesa which is just incredible.

Right now I'd be happy to be able to continue working 70 hour weeks from the comfort of my own home, but alas

If I get the time off: Work out, walk doggy, play animal crossing. I'd love to watch tv but there is nothing good left on netflix/amazon.

Avoid my parents. And be sad, because I wont be able to say bye to my colleagues and much worse: Children. As my last day at work would have been the 24th.

Still on rotations in hospital so no free time for me.

Unless narrowly avoiding coronavirus counts?

"Free...time?" What is that? XD :(]

When I do, I try to squeeze in drawing and/or writing for my next graphic novel. I tend to save watching tv/playing video games for the weekends if I'm not hanging out with friends.

Working on my research paper for my masters. Good chance I may not be able to walk in May if it gets cancelled but I'm still graduating dammit.

If my job switched to working from home, I'd probably be even more tired than I am now because then I'd have to take care of my 2 year old while I work. No free time here regardless of what happens.

Nothing changes for me, I work from home.
