That was one of the better SNL skits I've seen in a long time. Some of the lyrics had me dying

Lol at the dude posting his own tweet in this thread.

Seriously, content rights or whatever. This is not available in my country on YouTube, but I can watch it fine on Twitter?

Spot on, Kate played a good Dido and of course Pete got it. Cool that while he's used less after he almost burnt out, he's still one of modern good SNL folks along with Kate.

And of course, I can't get used black haired Em.

I do wonder if Em actually got a PS5 and who in the staff got one.

A lot better than their lame Mario parody they did earlier this year.

Side note: Eminem with a beard will never not look weird to me.

I'm not sure how good gauc is after 20 years but Em's old catalog still bangs on multiple levels.

it really does not. awful music. only SSLP and select MMLP and Eminem show tracks pass the listening test (with extreme difficulty)

guy spent the first half of his career making music for kids that randomly yell "penis" in class, and the second half of his career he was making call of duty music.

but hey, he'll always have "Rock Bottom" and some really good rhyme schemes.

So even by your own standards, he has plenty of records that pass your listening test.

Your select tracks on The Eminem Show has to include

White America
Cleanin' Out my Closet
Square Dance, Solider
Say Goodbye Hollywood
Sing for the Moment
Til' I Collapse

And on the MMLP it has to include
Kill You
Stan
Who Knew
The Way I Am
Marshall Mathers
The Real Slim Shady
Remember Me?
Drug Ballad
Amityville
Kim
Criminal

So I just don't see the justification for your comment that any of this is awful music.

Of course, not everything stands the test of time, but that goes for all art. And if you didn't like these records before then you don't like them now but you can't honestly say his music hasn't aged well if you never liked it in the first place.

Nah. MMLP and Eminem Show are nearly perfect hip hop albums.

Everything since has obviously been all over the place. His newest album his very solid though, as is Recovery.

The guy has 11 albums, I can, at best, listen to one (which would end up being an amalgamation of select songs from 3 albums).

The guy has an awful music catalog. If you think about most artists generally and commonly accepted as hip-hop legends he easily has the worst collection of music of them all.

And no lie, ain't a single sane person getting passed the aux chord and they are playing Eminem. You get pushed out the car while it's moving. When have you ever been to a place where people congregate to celebrate or socialise and they play Eminem's catalog? Wtf

And you listed "The Real Slim Shady", "Kim", "Criminal", and them shits as songs worth listening to. My god.
