I don't blame the victims at all, but it's clear Sky has talked to them privately about God knows what. You can't trust the scene to fix itself. Sky is clearly about self preservation here. It was his house. I don't see how he didn't know about anything that went on.

Anyone who's lived in an apartment or house with roommates in that type of setting knows he's lying there's no way he was completely in the dark and even if he wasn't, fuck him for allowing it to happen in his space at all. I remember reading that rumor about M2K a while ago, absolutely horrible that it's false and he had to tell a very difficult personal story to dispel it.
I don't think Smash the game itself is the issue...but I do think the basis behind it being a series that features characters from a wide array of games aimed at different age groups (or hell, characters who have decades between them in terms of conception) definitely led to an eveionment that probably should've been monitored more closely than other fighting games which tend to sort of have that one age range they tend to attract.

There is a problem in the entire gaming industry but I think smash has more issues involving minors which needs to be addressed as quickly as possible. Nintendo needs to make a response to this shitshow.
I appreciate them providing professional help to the victims and ZeRo instead of just bailing.

Sky is a POS. He has always defended anyone who lived under his roof and at best, claimed ignorance. I was told a rumor once before from someone who used to frequent that place and I believed it. If it's true, I keep hoping the victim will come forward because there's one guy who used to be in that circle of people (D1, Zxax and others I don't know by name) and lived at the house but hasn't been named yet.

The pattern has been whenever someone with actual skeletons gave support folks would quickly call them out for their hypocrisy, so the fact that hasn't happened with Alpharad gives me hope that he's legit one of the good ones.
