Should Nintendo make a new 1080 Snowboarding?

Games are lacking in D&B, so I'm all for this.
We need more arcade sports games. It's a mutual benefit for sports involvement and gaming.
Nothing sells unless you market the game right. Thank goodness Nintendo has an excellent marketing team that could sell a game like 1-2-Switch at $50 millions. Today's Nintendo can definitely sell 1080 millions too.
I think people are right when they say a 1080/pilotwings/Wave Race mash up with the same cast would have the best chance.
Maybe you could separate the kinds of game or you could have tracks which require you to pilotwings off a summit, snowboard down and end up at the bottom of a mountain doing a jet ski race across a lake.

Neither does Labo and yet they´re pumping them out at an alarming rate.
Not every exclusive game needs to sell boatloads, diversifying the lineup and selling consoles is much more important.
I guess it's happening any day now.

I will never understand Nintendo sitting on a potential pile of money and doing nothing with these franchises..
They should make a 1080 downhill..

I remember the first 1080. loved it. It was so hard to pull a 1080. It was the only trick that required the press of a Z button if I recall.
What I really want is a switch sports resort type game, with snowboarding, jet ski racing and all the Wii sports type games (as well as some other stuff like pool and darts etc) all bundled in

I would absolutely love to see an new 1080 or Wave Race (or F-Zero of course). I get that Mario Kart is where the big dollars come from, but the return of one of their other racing franchises is overdue.
Snowboarding's not as appealing to me as a new Wave Race.

Absolutely! Played it a quite a bit actually. Not as much as I played Pilotwings 64 or Wave Race 64.
It also was much better than any of the Cool Boarders. Plus, they need to bring back the Tommy Hilfiger license!

Bump I think the 1080 successor that was reported on last year is going to be a PSVR game, the creator posted a pic with Shu a couple months ago. They could just be friends though, but his small studio has turned to vr games.

It should be called 1080 Stay Home and you take the role of real life snowboarders who stay at home and play 1080 e-sports. That would be so cool, cooler even than cool boarders.
Agreed! I played the hell out of 1080 on N64. I actually didn't play the GC follow up as much. Same with Wave Race for that matter. The N64 versions were just so damn good. Plus, not as much competition nowadays ha.
Also, I still have my 1080 Snowboarding long sleeve shirt!
