Raidou is the protagonist of the SMT Devil Summoner series who replaced Dante in the Nocturne Chronicles Edition re-release.

They have the exact same moves but Raidou's a little better in combat.

It was already translated, at least in French, on PS2.
Both SMT trailer show that voice will be English and Japanse and translated in French (and assume other languages)

It's possible, but outside of a handful of games, mainline SMT games have been primarily on Nintendo platforms, so this is closing the chapter of Nintendo missing one of the numbered ones. I imagine this remaster is to capitalize on that and market the most "console-like" take that would presumably match what they envision for SMT V.
